What is The Good Tip?
The Good Tip is an invitation-only app for trusted local recommendations. Instead of sifting through reviews from strangers, you get restaurants, activities, family services and local gems from people already in your community — the tips they would give a friend. .
Which cities is The Good Tip in?
We are starting in Brussels, where it all begins, and opening in Madrid and Geneva. We add a city only once the community there is strong enough to make the tips worth having. .
How do I get an invite?
Two ways: ask someone who is already a member to invite you, or and tell us a little about yourself. We review every request personally.
Why is The Good Tip invitation only?
Because trust does not scale by itself. A smaller, vouched-for community is what keeps the recommendations honest — when everyone can be traced back to someone, nobody posts noise.
What kind of tips will I find?
Food & drinks, activities, family (schools, paediatricians, playgrounds), shopping & services, culture & events, and local gems you would never find on your own. .
Does it cost anything?
The app is free for members at launch. If that ever changes, existing members will hear it from us first — not from a paywall.
When does the app launch?
It is already usable. The Good Tip runs today as a WebApp at app.thegoodtip.com — open it in your browser and save it to your Home Screen for one-tap access, just like a normal app. Native versions are coming to the App Store and Google Play; request an invite and we will tell you the moment they are live — you will not be added to any other mailing list.
What do you do with my data?
We use your name and email only to review your invite request and to contact you about The Good Tip. We do not sell it and we do not share it with advertisers. Full detail is in our privacy policy, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to info@thegoodtip.com.
